This front splitter is shaped for the factory front bumper of the VW Golf R Mk8 (2020–2024), extending the lower edge for a lower, wider and more aggressive stance while taking the first knocks from kerbs and speed bumps instead of the painted bumper. Moulded from UV-stable ABS in a deep gloss black finish, it follows the R bumper's original contour for a clean, factory-look fit.

Installation

The splitter mounts to the lower edge of the front bumper using the supplied screw kit. Mounting holes are drilled into the bumper at the marked points — no cutting or trimming of the bumper is needed.

1. Dry-fit the splitter and check alignment along the full bumper edge.
2. Mark the mounting points using the splitter as a guide.
3. Drill the marked points and secure with the supplied screws, working from the centre outwards.

Basic hand tools and a drill are needed (approx. 45–60 min). Professional installation is recommended if unsure.

FAQ

Does it fit the Golf GTI or R-Line Mk8?

Does it fit the 2024 Golf R Mk8.5?
No. The facelift has a new front bumper; this splitter is for 2020–2024 cars.

Is drilling required?
