Installation

The valance mounts to the lower edge of the rear bumper using the supplied screw kit. Mounting holes are drilled into the bumper at the marked points — no cutting or trimming of the bumper shape is needed.

1. Dry-fit the valance and check alignment along the full bumper edge.
2. Mark the mounting points using the valance as a guide.
3. Drill the marked points and secure with the supplied screws, working from the centre outwards.

Basic hand tools and a drill are needed (approx. 45–60 min). Professional installation is recommended if unsure.

Does it fit the pre-facelift A3 8Y?
No. The 2024 facelift has a new rear bumper; this valance is for facelift Sedans only.

Does it fit the A3 Sportback?
No. The Sportback has a different rear bumper; this valance is for the Sedan only.

Is drilling required?
Yes. The valance is screw-fitted: holes are drilled into the bumper at the marked points using the supplied kit.

Is it road legal in the UK?
