Installation

The splitter mounts to the lower edge of the front bumper using the supplied screw kit. Mounting holes are drilled into the bumper at the marked points — no cutting or trimming of the bumper is needed.

1. Dry-fit the splitter and check alignment along the full bumper edge.
2. Mark the mounting points using the splitter as a guide.
3. Drill the marked points and secure with the supplied screws, working from the centre outwards.

Basic hand tools and a drill are needed (approx. 45–60 min). Professional installation is recommended if unsure.

FAQ

Does it fit the plug-in hybrid 408?
Yes, if it has the GT front bumper. The hybrid and petrol 408 GT share the same front end.

Are front splitters universal?
No. This splitter is moulded for the 408 GT bumper only, which is why it fits without gaps.

Is drilling required?
Yes. The splitter is screw-fitted: holes are drilled into the bumper at the marked points using the supplied kit.

Is it road legal in the UK?
